What will your legacy be? Consider including MPAEF in your estate and financial plans.
Our Planned Giving program, along with the MPAEF Endowment, helps ensure that future students in our District will continue to receive a high-quality education for generations to come.
Planned Giving involves making charitable gifts through your estate plans and may result in favorable financial benefits for you or your estate. These plans can:
- Entitle you to gift or estate tax deductions
- Enable you to leave a legacy for MPAEF and support the mission of MPAEF
The most common type of planned gift is a bequest in your will or trust. The MPAEF Endowment also accepts assets including cash and securities.
If you have decided to include the Menlo Park-Atherton Education Foundation in your estate plans, please let us know. We would like to thank you for your generosity, and include you as a member of the Menlo Park-Atherton Education Foundation Legacy Society.
For more information about leaving your legacy, please contact Susannah Hill, Foundation Director, at (650) 325-0100 or email us.
Learn why Stephanie Seeger sees education as the greatest gift and why she's leaving her legacy through our planned giving program:
“We know that funding for education has dwindled over the years, so how do we ensure that our kids receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for the world we live in? One important way is by sustaining the Menlo Park-Atherton Education Foundation. I know my children’s teachers are supported by the MPAEF in their mission to provide a top-quality education. My children are fortunate to have their music, art, and science classes funded by the Foundation. As our schools struggle to make ends meet, the MPAEF ensures these essential programs continue.
I decided to include the MPAEF in my planned giving because I want these programs to endure for future generations. We don’t know the twists and turns our education system will make in the coming decades. We can’t possibly know what an education will look like for our grandchildren. But can we ensure that education is the best it can be? Absolutely. I feel good knowing the MPAEF will be able to continue the work it does on behalf of our children.”
