SCHOLAR'S CIRCLE The MPAEF Scholar’s Circle is a collection of District families committed to supporting MPAEF Annual Giving with gifts of $10,000 or more. Last year was very successful, with over 50 families joining the Scholar's Circle for a total donation of more than $650,000 to the Annual Campaign. This represents approximately 25% of the total funds raised by our foundation in 2006-2007. We are grateful to these families that share their dedication to public education by donating to Annual Giving at the highest levels. Scholar's Circle donors receive recognition in the annual MPAEF Donor Roll and Spring Auction Catalog. Join the Scholar’s Circle now and you will enjoy attending special events. Last year, Scholar’s Circle members toasted Annual Giving with a special wine-tasting hosted by local vintners Jim & Bob Varner of Varner Wines and enjoyed wonderful appetizers provided by Lavanda Restaurant. Please note: Donors of $10,000 or more will receive a reserved table at the 2008 Auction, plus the two complimentary tickets given to all donors of $5000 or more. All other guests at reserved Auction tables will need to purchase their own tickets.
